[CES 2011] HP is introducing the HP Compaq LA2006x , a new WLED backlit monitor with a slider stands with a height adjustability range of 130 mm. According to HP, the use of WLED backlit makes the device environmentally friendly because it does not contain mercury and lower the power consumption. WLEDs allow to make thinner monitors because they are placed on the side of the display. You can tilt the LA2006x up to 35° or rotate it vertically or horizontally.
