Hmmm, here is yet another BlackBerry handset that is in the pipeline, codenamed Dakota. It does seem to resemble the current Bold smartphone, although instead of a regular display, it will come with a 2.8″ capacitive touchscreen display at 640 x 480  resolution. Apart from that, you will find the mainstay of BlackBerry devices, their claim to fame – the QWERTY keyboard intact. Other hardware specifications comprise of a 5-megapixel camera that does HD video recording, 4GB of internal memory, and a whopping 768MB RAM to make sure it runs along just fine even if you decide to run many apps simultaneously. No idea on what kind of processor is used though, but it should be a thoroughbred or somewhere near there if it were to support HD video recording. Apart from native 3G mobile hotspot support, you will also find NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi N connectivity inside, a microUSB port and the latest BlackBerry OS 6.1 when it ships. We think that RIM will reveal more details concerning pricing and availability at MWC 2011 next month in Barcelona, so stay tuned. Image courtesy of BGR.
