Facebook Becomes Most Visited Site On The Net

For the first time, Facebook has surpassed Google to become the most visited website in the U.S. for the majority of 2010. According to online measurement service Experian Hitwise, Facebook topped Google with 8.9 percent of all U.S. visits between January and November 2010. Google came in a close second with 7.2 percent of all visits. In 2008 and 2009, Google.com dominated the top spot as the most visited website.
