Seagate rolls out Constellation.2, a 2.5 inch 1TB HDD

The Constellation.2 is in fact the first 1TB 2.5-inch enterprise HDD. The drive is ready for several different business storage needs including, but not limited to DAS, NAS and SAN. Offered 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB models, the Constellation is also superfast and secure, with 6GB/s performance, 1.4 million hours MTBF, and T10 protection Information. There is no news on the price yet, but they should be available before the end of the year.
