We previously saw Barnes & Noble's NOOKcolor hacked to have third-party apps running on it and while the eBook reader originally ships with Android 2.1, the folks out there have managed to get Android 2.2.1 running on the device. While the stock device doesn't offer the standard Android elements such as the Home Screen or program launcher, you will get those with the hacked NOOKcolor not to mention a phone icon (though you obviously can't make cell phone calls with it). The NOOKcolor features an 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and a 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, making it a rather capable Android tablet that only costs $250. You can check out a video of Android 2.2.1 running on this device after the jump.
