The first BDXL-standard Blu-ray drive, the BDR-206MBK by Pioneer, originally released in October, is now being shipped to the US. BDXL read/write unit can hold up to 128GB of data in quad-layer discs or 100GB in triple-layer media. CyberLink software for Windows users comes bundled with the drive, as is one blank 100GB BD-R XL disc. The drive has a SATA interface. The price is $200. Things you can do from here:
