There's high-speed Internet, and there's there's FiOS. Verizon's fiber-backed platform has been the envy of many for years now, and while it isn't available nationwide, those who do have access can now brag a little more. As cable companies deploy DOCSIS 3.0 in order to offer consumer speeds above the 100Mbps market, Verizon is pushing the envelope even more when their latest offering.
