Nokia is releasing a greener version of its N8and C7 smartphones through carriers O2 and Telefonica. While having the same look and performance of the models that Nokia had released prior, the eco-friendly variants utilize bio-paints and bio-plastics. Also, the AMOLED display consumes less power than traditional LCD screens, adding to the phones' environmental benefits. Moreover, Nokia has also improved on the packaging design of both phones to make them greener, offering a smaller recyclable box, single page guide, and more energy efficient power charger.
