Microsoft's foray into the world of gaming hardware has been a bittersweet story – while it afforded a fair number of competitors to other more established players in the market, it seems as though it has reached the end of the road, where the company is tipped to kill of the brand in its entirety where gaming peripherals are concerned. The mains reson behind this closure is simple – economics. Microsoft claims that the PC peripheral market has far too many players, so they are unable to provide the relevant support and hardware required to keep up with the Joneses at the very least. GG and RIP, Sidewinder.
