I-O Data update its slim External Blu-Ray burner and introduces the BRP-U6

Introduced for the first time almost a year ago under the BRP-US6, I-O Data ultra slim and light (330g) External Blu-Ray burner as been upgraded to now support BD-RE discs. The BRP-U6 is now capable to burn both single layer BD-R and RE discs at 6x as well as dual Layer BD-R and BD-RE at 4x. It also burns DVD±R/RW, Dual Layer DVD±R/RW, DVD-RAM and CDs as well. The BRP-U6 will be sold in Japan later this December at around 22,100 Yen.
